Organisational Auditor

Description:A Project Management Consultancy Firm in Johannesburg is looking for an Organisational Auditor. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Organisational Auditors undertake the comprehensive Auditing of client organisations.  This position is not a purely financial auditing position, but includes comprehensive organisational Auditing.  Candidates should thus have the ability to comprehend and assimilate Business Management concepts.  


REPORTING TO

Reporting to the Project Manager, Organisational Auditors undertake the comprehensive Auditing of organisation’s using a framework which compares the status quo within organisations to what organisational policy stipulates.  Organisational Auditors spend a number of day’s at facilities which are being Audited to obtain the required information, and then undertake assessment based on the information obtained.  Report writing is also a key role of this position, candidates should therefore have an excellent command of the English language, grammar and punctuation. This position involves travel within the Gauteng province.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Undertake relevant research in the various management disciplines covered within the project, and document this research in a coherent and appropriate manner.
Undertake the comprehensive Audit of organisations.  Areas to be assessed include:
o Organisational General Management;
o Organisational Financial Management;
o Organisational Human Resource Management;
o Service delivery;
Compile Audit Reports:
o Document findings from the Audit process of client organisation’s;
o Put forward implementable recommendations for the Board’s consideration.
Presentation of Findings to Organisation’s Management:
o Present Audit findings to organisation’s, and work with organisation’s to develop remedial action plans in respect of their areas of weakness.
Stakeholder Management:
o Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with organisations so as to have buy-in during the Audit process, and during follow-up interventions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: 

A relevant Qualification (Preferably Honours Graduate, or BCom degree with auditing or management accounting as majors);
Minimum of two years working experience;
Relevant working experience.
